Another KidsFest Success....!!

KidsFest is over again for another year and the rain did not put a dampener on the numbers that attended KidsFest. A massive 11,200 people poured through the gates all wanting to get into the KidsFest spirit.

The line up at KidsFest was huge with main stage shows Bob the Builder, Fifi and the Flowertots, Magic Sally a Fearie rock band and the crowd went wild for Ben 10 on both days. The festival had two sideshow alleys, two programmed sporting areas, wood working workshops, animal farm, CFA educational mobile truck, the Eco Van, the Greater Shepparton Village, a massive sandpit programmed area, KidsTown Clowns with face painting, trade stalls, Girl Guides and Scout BBQ's, and the list went on....!!!

Thank you Volunteers and Sponsors of KidsFest

Massive crowds came through the gates at KidsFest and were greeted with some friendly smiling faces and fantastic group of volunteers that we had for KidsFest 2009. Without these guys KidsFest would never been the success that it was.

Total number of overall volunteers were 124, with a total number of 1240 hours put into the set up, during the festival and pack up of KidsFest over the two days. We would like to thank you all for your time and effort you put into KidsFest 2009. Every year we get great feedback about KidsFest from parents and friends of people who attended and that's thanks to people like you and the many others who helped us out each year.

Come along to KidsTown for the Open Day and learn to build a party with a difference. There'll be tours of KidsTown BBQ and picnic areas, party planning workshops & taste testing of the Cheesecake shop range and a FREE sausage sizzle thanks to Luke's Magic Meats. Also for the kids the KidsTown Clown with FREE face painting.
