KidsFest 2009 Scarecrow Competition
Be part of KidsFest this year by creating your very own Scarecrow!
KidsFest scarecrow competition is open to all age school groups and organizations.
The plan is to display a large number of scarecrows around the Miniature railway line at this year's KidsFest 2009.
This year we decided to shake things up a bit and divide the competition into two categories.
The first is general, which means you would make a normal traditional looking scarecrow. The other category is for the bit more creative; a story book theme in which you would take your favourite storybook character and make it into a scarecrow.
Scarecrows can be put on display up to 2 weeks before KidsFest and could be left on display for up to 3 Months.
Your scarecrow must be completed from start to finish and comply with the conditions of entry provided.
Entries in the underage categories must be predominately completed by children of that age group.
All it takes to be in the running for fame and prizes is a $5-00 entry fee. Prizes will be presented to the best scarecrow entries on Saturday the 3rd October 2009.

Our miniature train rides operate weekends, public holidays and Victorian school holidays. But we can arrange the miniature train or any other of our extra activities during your KidsTown visit. Our friendly staff can accomodate any special arrangements your school might need. e.g. icy pole, lolly bags, free BBQ usage, and heaps more.

Give Me Five For Kids - Day out @ KidsTown
Give Me Five For Kids is on again and we need to dig deep and help raise some money for your local hospital's Childrens ward.
Monday 29th June 2009
10.00am to 3.00pm
Entry is gold coins and all money raised on the day goes to Give Me Five For Kids.
This day will be about fun and laughter with our children....!!
